Big Bird?
My Hubby let our dog, Mary Jane, out one night as he does many nights, to do her business. I am in my office working, my son is watching TV, my daughter is in her room on her laptop. All of a sudden, Hubby calls all of us, "Oh my God, ya'll have to come see this thing, Quick! I don't know what it is!"
So, my son and I rush to the back door to look out and see what strange thing Hubby has discovered in our back yard. We look out and we see what he sees (see photo above). He told me he had called Mary Jane back inside because he didn't know what it was. Then my son commented he thought he saw it move. We were all under the assumption it was some kind of large bird like an ostrich would be, only there are no ostriches in Alabama unless they are in a zoo, lol.
I ran back for the camera and tried to get a closer look. Hubby warned me to be careful. As I got closer, I started laughing. As many times as I have walked my dog in that very spot, both day and night, I should have known right away what it was. Anyone care to guess? I will post correct answer in another entry.
