My friend, KC, sent me a bunch of Maxine's through email today. While I was reading them, I came across this one and I started laughing hysterically. Of course, my daughter wanted to know why I was laughing so hard. I told her KC had sent me a Maxine cartoon that fit me sooooo perfectly. I read it to her, she said, "Oh my gosh, this is so you!" LMBO.

I see I must come back and clarify after reading some of my comments. I am not talking about prerinsing, I am talking wash the dishes and rinse them BEFORE I load them. They are already clean when I turn the dishwasher on, lol. And yes......I run them through the whole cycle. And yes......I know its a strange thing to do. My Hubby and kids tease me about having some form of OCD because I am such a neat freak. I do not have OCD, I am just eccentric. What's wrong with that? If we were all just alike, what a boring world it would be. :-0

I always rinse my didhes before putting them in the dishwasher even though the instruction that came with the dishwasher stated let the dishwasher do it's job. Do not prerinse dishes LOL. I use the dishwasher about two times a week, can you imagine the smell if I didn't rinse first. Helen

I love it! Some of those Maxines are so cute... and so fitting! I always rinse dishes too before loading them, but then thats the way I thought it was supposed to be done. I can't bring myself not to prerinse. lol

we rinse dishes before going into the dishwasher but don't wash them like you do; but whatever brings you happiness, LOL

LOL - I "wash" my dishes before I wash my dishes, too. Not because I'm a neat-freak though, it's because my dishwasher is a piece of crap and doesn't do the job.
;-D However, I do have a certain "way" the dishes must go and I'm the only one in the house who "gets" it. Know what I mean?

Hi Susan, I jusrt found your link again! Keep losing all of my links ~ thanks to AOL! I had a friend who used to wash dishes before they went into the dishwasher. She also washed her ashtrays after each flick of her cigarette and had to make tea using matching cups, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug! Now SHE had issues! I've got no dishwasher so all mine get washed by hand. Jeannette xx
That is interesting the there was a Maxine to fit you completely. Now if your OCD was about being green, then you would adjust to being the most frugal with electric used to heat water and run the washer, and water used. One thing everyone is doing is being frugal about the amount of driving they do because of gas prices.
Thanks for offering your support to me on my recovery from surgery. My back is doing really well and my energy level is so much greater and I can enjoy a day where I dreaded every day before because of back pain. I am wearing my back brace which is the kind you see workers that do heavy lifting wear around their waist to protect their lumbar back. Since I no longer have the back part of my vertebra, my spinal sheath covering must scar over correctly. Even with the brace I must continually remember to tuck in my abdominal muscles. The exit area's from the spinal nerve were also enlarged. I had something done that makes me feel like a completely different person physically. I feel stronger, but must lift no more than a gallon of milk weight for another 4 weeks at least. mark
I put the dishes in all dirty, lol, hubby is the one who prewashes them, drives me crazy, lol...
