I'm not crazy! Well, I guess the I’m not crazy part is debatable, lol, but seriously, I received a notice from my doc today about one of the medications that was prescribed for me for allergies. I was astounded when I read the symptoms this medication could be causing because I have been dealing with many of these symptoms. I am posting it in case some of you may be on this same medication, you need to know the dangers associated with it.

I was surprised about this too because two of my children are on it. Our doc said we can discontinue use and make an appt to discuss options. Those are some serious side effects!

Gee with my MIL being sick and then dying, my BIL being such a thorn in my side and life in general I thought all my symptoms were from that. Now to find out my asthma medication may be making it all even worse. Too strange. Bummer because it worked well for my asthma. Time to find something else.

I find it astounding that the drug companies have such a grip on the American government, why was it ever passed?

I thought you took Mary Jane's medicine again... just kidding...
not only are all the warning signs on medicine enough to keep you from taking the medicine but then how do you know if its the medicine or something else causing it, very frustrating...
Take care!
Linda :)
Yikes!
wow, I didn't realize Singulair can do that and it is so widely prescribed!! glad you got the warning for it

Would you believe I saw my goofy doctor on Thursday. I have been so stuffed up on the right side. I can feel the crud behind my ear. Can't take decongestants because of high blood pressure. Can't tolerate most antihistamines because I have restless leg syndrome and they ratchit it up tremendously. So I begged her to give me a chortazone shot. That worked wonders in the past. (Old doctor.) No...no...she doesn't give the stuff at all. But she'll order me some of this expensive Singular for me to try as it is different from other antihistamines. Then lo and behold I get to work on Friday, telling them about my appointment and Karrie tells me about an announcement about this she saw on the morning news!!! I think I'll just stick some good old fashioned Vick's Vapor rub up my nose! ;o) - Barbara
Yeah I saw this on the news...so are you going to change meds?
