Photo Shoot #126

Conversation on the Beach

Young Love on the Beach

A walk on the beach near sunset

Which one is your favorite?  I have a definite favorite.  Decided to participate in this weeks photo shoot with Krissy (Sometimes I Think).  The subject this week is Black and White.  Hope you like my choices.  :-)  I love how changing it to black and white gives it a more silhouette-like appearance.

Blessings!~

I like YOUNG LOVE best too.  The horizon is lievel, the way a horizon ought to be, and the figures are connected.  I relate most to the WALK, but the solitary figure is not into the frame enough to be the center of attention.
I wonder which is your favorite, and why...composition or story it tells? Were you choosing as the story teller or the artist?
Ironic, nowadays we take eveything in color, and when we want the old fashioned look, have to remove the color. The black and white has an emotional appeal because we grew up with Panchromatic black and white film and learned to express outselves with it.

conversation on the beach was the only one I could see Susan, otherwise the other one was just a box with a red X; I'll check back later to vote on which one I like the best

great usage of the theme for Krissy!!!

... I think of the most of the last one ... I have a saying ... where the sun meets the horizon ... from there, I come ... that picture seems to capture the essence of that phrase ... in fact, I wouldn't mind a copy ... promise to give you full credit ..!

... even should you decide not to, I think that it is the spirit of a soul crossing the empty sands, in seach of a promise ...

I like young love the best...

You know...normally I hate seascapes with a crooked horizon, but your picture works great!  The sun balances out well against the young couple and the tilted horizon gives a great sense of the carefree attitude of love.

I have to say the top one. The angle gives it such a different perspective. Love it! (Hugs) Indigo

Здравствулте!, я надеюсь что вы готовы на славный, ослабляя викэнд. Было хорошо увидеть вас.

The first one is my favorite of them. :-)  It just seems to have more natural feeling, more intensity than the second that seems posed.

I'm thinking "Walking on the Beach Near Sunset" is best of the three. I like the expanse of water/sky with the one person for human interest/scale.
