Great News!~

Dear Journal,

I have some great news, but I think I will make you wait to be told what it is.  ::giggle::

As I was going to bed last night, I went to tell my daughter goodnite as I usually do and I fell going out the door in her room.  I got carpet burns on both knees and it hurt my elbow, but at least it feels much better today.  This obviously is NOT the good news.

Looks like we are in for some winter storm weather in the next few days.  We are expecting ice/sleet conditions, which is actually quite rare for this deep in the south.  I think I will keep my daughter home from school and we shall not venture out.  I just hope we don't lose our power.  Central heat/air is wonderful after not having it since 1995, but when it doesn't work, it is the pits. We would have to go back and stay with my son if we did lose power because he has fireplaces.

It is very nice having an electrician in the family.  Our furnace, which is electric, quit working a few days ago.  I called my son and asked him if he would come take a look at it, which he did.  I didn't have the money to pay for a service call for someone who works with heating/air.  He came over when he got off of work.  Turns out it was a loose connection.  He fixed it.  What a HUGE blessing!

Now for the great news!  A former employer called and wants me to come back to work for them doing medical transcription from home like I was doing for the hospital.  This is not the job I just quit from that was so stressful.  I will have benefits again should they hire me back.  I am ecstatic!  Now if my Hubby could find a new job.  His work has been very slow as of late.

Guess that is all I have to say for now.  I need to get over to our storage unit to get some more items put into storage before this weather starts moving in and I have to move another load from the A-frame to here.  We are almost done in the house now.  Basically all I have left is some books and videos.  Unfortunately, we have not even touched the garage yet.  ::sigh::  I hate moving, but actually love our new place.  Hope to have pics soon.

Have a blessed week!~
