When Jesus heard that, he said, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby."
John 11:4

I found a lump on my leg where my left foot joins my tib/fib sort of between my ankle and the front part of my leg. I have been unable to walk without pain for a couple of weeks now. Now that I have no health insurance, I cannot go to the doc just anytime I want. I know some of you might wonder why I quit my job since I carried the benefits, but the stress of them wanting to write me up all the time because I am ill and could not work my schedule was just more than I could bear. I am not so stressed out now, but I am concerned that we have no health insurance. I feel my employer turned their back on me when I needed them most. It hurts. It really hurts.
I just stopped by to say I may be away for a few days. Cable will probably be turned off until Hubby gets paid on Monday. I can live without cable/internet. I had to make house payment and pay power bill. Those are definitely priority over the cable, but hopefully I will be back soon with pics of our new place.
Much love, many hugs and prayers to all,

Honey, go to ER if necessary and arrange to make payments. Sometimes lumps are serious. I do understand financial difficulties, am going through some myself right now, so will keep you and your family in prayer. Please let us know how you're doing, what you find out, if anything. big hugs.
Love you.

I'm sorry to hear this Susan..I know what its like to not have health insurance. I went through that, my boy was not even two years old when he got sick, we just moved here in SC--Joe just started the job and insurance was not active until after 30 days, so I couldn't take him to the doctor.
Have you tried public clinic?
I can't believe that your former employer would do that..I don't know why some employer are just not sympathetic or have no compassion toward their staff.
. I hope that you can find some ways to get health care..specially now, you need to see a doctor for that lump since you've been in pain.
You get back online when you can..I'm sure I won't be the only one who'll be here for you when you come back.
hugs,
Gem~~
(((Susan))); remember, this didn't catch the Lord by surprise; just trust in him and cling to him.

Prayers going out to you. I just paid my daughters rent and she paid her electric so I know what you are going through. Things will get better and I'm sorry you're in so much pain. It's not a blood clot is it those hurt something awful. Please be careful and get that checked out by someone.

We called and canceled our cable too becasue we are trying to get cc bills paid off although we will still have internet...hubby can't do without since his job demands that. I can live without cable but not internet. Well...maybe I could.
I pray that that lump is nothing...Prob fatty deposits. Try to get it checked as soon as possible tho. Good luck and we will miss you if you have to go :( I will be watching for your return.
Sending prayers my friend!
Linda :)
Check and see if the nearest hospital helps people with no insurance, sometimes they have a program available... can you qualify for medicaid? I hope the lump turns out to be nothing.. Linda
My Lord, I don't even know what to say. If there is anyone who can use a break right now, it's you my friend. I hope that something good is coming your way.
Do check into Medicaid!
My prayers are going up for you Susan...this has been a rough beginning to the year for a lot of us...hugs and much love always,
