"But you are a shield around me, O Lord; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head." Psalm 3:3

Just stoppin' in to say we are almost done moving after about 5 weeks. Sheesh! You never really know all the junk you have accumulated in 29 years of marriage until you start moving! We have so much we had to get a storage shed. I am getting rid of unnecessary items, but still it is a long drawn out process. At least I am no longer employed, so I can spend all day getting everything set up like I want. Only bad thing about that is it doesn't pay the bills and we no longer have health insurance! ::sigh::
I have also been slow because I have terrible pain in my left leg. That slows me down. Don't know what that is all about.
Also, I haven't forgotten that I promised pictures. As soon as I get everything put away and set up like I want it, I will get some in. We really like living here so far. It is one of the nicest mobile home parks I have ever seen. I love it because it is very quiet, there are no stairs for me to deal with except coming in and going out, and no basement to flood! Woo Hoo!~
Anyway, hope the new year has started out great for everyone. Maybe after I get done putting things away I will have time to journal more and read more of my favorite journals. I have truly missed all of you.
Have a blessed week!~

oh I really hope you get to share those pics soon. Im glad ou like whre you live
moving is tiring, isn't it? a storage shed is a great idea to take time to go through things to downsize as you have time. I know when we moved I got rid of so much; missed maybe one or two small items, but for the most part was glad of less clutter.
now, though, with two packrats in the family (excluding me) we are slowly starting to get more things again, LOL
take care

If I were to move everything upstairs wouldn't be too difficult, now the basement that's another story altogether. I'm trying to convince Doc if you haven't used it in the past year, don't miss it, throw it out. The new place sounds just right for you. Take your time moving in and enjoy it. (Hugs) Indigo
I'm do glad you are settling into your new place....
I'm sorry about the job but maybe this is what God wants for you right now to get better and the health insurance will work itself out...
Can't wait to see pictures!
Linda :)
So glad you are getting a chance to just take it slow and unpack and get everything just the way you will want it to be. That is great to have everything on one floor! I am really looking forward to pictures of your new home!!! Much prayers and hugs from Kentucky girl!!
