Happy 28th, Darlin'!~

My 28th anniversary was spent with me organizing things in the house and going through my file cabinet and Hubby working.  He came home and we grilled out steaks.  We fixed baked potatoes, baked beans, and a salad to go along with it.  He has gone to bed because he has to work tomorrow.

Most of our 28 years have been happy ones.  Our greatest joys were the births of our children, a son who is now 24 years old and a daughter who is 14.  There is nothing like becoming a parent.

The saddest parts have been losing our beloved grandparents, my Dad, my youngest brother, and a nephew through death and our daughter-in-law when she threw us away like garbage.  The picture posted of all five of us on their wedding day is the only one I have of the five of us together.  We still live with the pain of that loss.

I feel the absolute happiest time of our marriage were the three years and four months we lived in the beautiful state of Colorado.  We have dreams of going back one day to stay.

I have more to say on this issue, but I am so tired and I still have to run daughter's boyfriend home.  So for now, I shall say good night.

Blessings!~

Susan

P.S.  Please remember our men and women in the military in your prayers tonight.
