Medication Warning!~

I'm not crazy!  Well, I guess the I’m not crazy part is debatable, lol, but seriously, I received a notice from my doc today about one of the medications that was prescribed for me for allergies.  I was astounded when I read the symptoms this medication could be causing because I have been dealing with many of these symptoms.  I am posting it in case some of you may be on this same medication, you need to know the dangers associated with it.

MOTTO TO LIVE BY!~

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!~"

I love this.  A very dear friend I have known since my childhood days sent this to me all the way from Michigan.  He said he thought I would like it.  Rick, you know me well, my friend!  I do!  Thanks for thinking of me!~

Hope everyone has a great weekend!~

Happy Easter!~

HE IS RISEN!  MAY WE REMEMBER WHY WE REALLY CELEBRATE EASTER!~

An excerpt from Billy Graham:

Jesus Christ made the way to God for us by his death on the Cross. He purchased our salvation by the shedding of his blood. His death and resurrection made a new and everlasting covenant between God and humanity.

Jesus told his disciples, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

HAPPY EASTER TO YOU AND YOURS!~

Spring has Sprung!~

Ah!!!!!  The first official day of Spring and it is a beauty!  It is sunny and warm here today in the deep south.  It is supposed to be in the upper 60's.  I am so happy to tell Winter goodbye, although it really wasn't too bad this year!~

Enough about that!  Don't know how many of my readers out there are American Idol fans, but I am a HUGE fan and I must say, I find Simon to be very hot!  I just want to tell you, America, you got it WRONG voting Amanda Overmeyer off last night and voting Carly into the bottom three!  Amanda and Carly are two of the most talented in the competition!  WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?????  You should have sent Kristy Lee Cook home, she has a pretty voice, but she is not Idol material.  Amanda had the whole package!  I couldn't decide between Carly, Amanda, Michael and David. They are my top pics and I am hightly irate that Amanda was voted off.  Kristy does not belong in the top 10, AMANDA does!  She was very gracious in saying that she was glad to have made it all the way to be #11 out of all those people.  Regardless of your stupidity, America, she is going to go somewhere!~

Okay, I think I am done venting now!

Happy Spring!~

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!~

Top o'the marnin' to ya!  ;-)  Tis a beautiful sunny, warm, and windy day here in the deep south!~

Irish Quote:

All Money Is Tainted, Tain't None Of It Mine!~

May I wish my friend, Katherine, a Happy 16th Birthday as well!  Wish we were in Colorado to celebrate with ya, Kat!

To find out about how St. Patrick's Day came about, go here:

http://wilstar.com/holidays/patrick.htm

A little tidbit from Wikipedia:

It became a feast day in the Roman Catholic Church due to the influence of the Waterford-born Franciscan scholar Luke Wadding in the early part of the 17th century, and is a holy day of obligation for Roman Catholics in Ireland. The date of the feast is occasionally moved by church authorities when March 17 falls during Holy Week; this happened in 1940 when Saint Patrick's Day was observed on 3 April in order to avoid it coinciding with Palm Sunday, and is happening again in 2008, being observed on 15 March (though the State holiday in Ireland is not affected).  March 17 will not fall during Holy Week again until 2160.

So, now you know!~

Don't forget to wear green, or you might just get pinched!

Have a great week!~

In Full Bloom!~

Look at my last entry compared to this one.  This flowering pear tree, I think it is, is now in full bloom. Ahhh!  Ya gotta luv Spring!

The yellowish-brown grass has hints of green in it now!  Woo Hoo!~

Looking out my back door to the left, you can see it is a bit overcast today.  We have had a little bit of rain, but not too much.  They are moving three single wides in between us and the double wide you see in the picture.  I don't like that.  I like the openness of it now; however, I am happy that Spring is in the air and Hubby is putting in applications all over the place, out of state, instate, but down near the coast, so we may be moving away anyway.  Won't really matter how many mobile homes they put in then, eh?

Also, I so appreciate all the prayers and good thoughts for my son.  Things went well.  I am so thankful to God!~

Happy Spring!~

Ahhh! Spring is in the air!~

MY PHOTO JOURNEY

I spy buds on a tree in my back yard.  That can only mean one thing!  Spring is in the air!  Woo Hoo!  It is a bit windy today, but quite sunny and warm, but because of the wind, it was hard to get a close up pic of the buds without blurring.

This tree is covered in blooms!~

Spring is my second favorite time of the year, with Autumn being my first favorite.  The temps are usually pretty near perfect this time of year.  I had to get out and enjoy some of this sunshine today because we are expecting rain tomorrow, but that's okay, I love the rain too!~

My family survived having the flu.  I am glad that is getting behind us now.  I have a sharp pain in my left chest wall from coughing so much, probably pulled something.  We all still have a little bit of congestion and a slight cough, but I am happy to report we are on the mend!~

I am supposed to start training for my new job today.  I pray all goes well with that and I can retain what they are trying to teach me.

Guess that's all for now!~

Happy Spring (yeah, I know I am a little bit early, but I'm excited, just go with it).  :-)

Blessings!~
